HTS New England provided the School of Marine and Science Technology at Umass Dartmouth with a custom HVAC solution. As basis of design, HTS equipped the renovation of building 1 and construction of building 2 with 150,000 CFM of Haakon Custom Air Handling Units. Both systems utilize all-copper coils, aluminum exterior, and a stainless steel interior to withstand corrosion for salt-water exposure.
The School of Marine and Science Technology includes a newly constructed 76,000 square-foot building, housing wet/dry research labs, classroom space, and a seawater research facility.
