The TCEA (Texas Computer Education Association) expanded its Austin offices and needed to address its temperature and humidity control problems in its large meeting spaces. HTS was selected as the basis of design due to its strong relationship with the engineer and the trust established by our reliable equipment and controls.
The building needed an updated, energy-efficient HVAC system with state-of-the-art DDC controls. With its own building automation system department, HTS was able to provide both solutions for the building. Installed were 10 Daikin rooftop units, totaling 201 tons and sporting the best efficiency available on the market. An integrated DDC control system was also installed, creating a total building solution.
With the proven sustainable high performance and efficiency of the system, the project earned LEED Silver status.
