HTS Texas provided the HVAC system for the new 178,000 square foot McAllen Convention Center in McAllen, TX.
The center needed a system that could perform quietly and reliably for the space and allowed for a high level of control for the occupants. With the Mediterranean architecture and incorporation of natural elements to the building’s design, the construction team also specified that the client didn’t want to see or hear the mechanical equipment once installed. HTS Texas met all the needs of the facility by providing 825 tons of Daikin McQuay water cooled chillers, Daikin McQuay air handling units and Haakon custom air handling units.
The resulting system provides the space not only with a quiet environment, but also with premium efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
