IRIS wanted to replace their failing chillers with a WMC chiller, which uses centrifugal compressors that utilize magnetic bearings for oil-free operation. HTS was chosen as the basis of design because of our reputation with this equipment and ability to work within the tight time constraints of the plant without disrupting production. One 250 ton chiller was installed, as well as a complete BAS package to replace the bugged system they were using.
