A quiet, comfortable learning environment was a crucial need for the Houston Christian High School student center. HTS Texas made sure it provided the best possible HVAC solutions for the school’s needs.
Chosen as the basis of design, HTS worked with the engineer to lay out a system that was energy efficient and used energy recovery of outside air to provide increased savings. Since sound levels, air quality, occupant comfort and equipment value were all of concern, Daikin VRVs were chosen for the project.
The center ended up with 78 tons of Daikin VRVs, 20 tons of Daikin MPS units with energy recovery for outside air, two United CoolAir Verticool units and a 2.5 ton Daikin SkyAir.
