After their current chiller failed, Smithson Valley High School, located in Spring Branch, was in need of a new cooling system. The engineer, HMG – San Antonio, had prior experience with oil-free chillers and HTS Texas was able to provide the perfect solution to the school’s chiller problem.
The broken chiller was replaced in just one month with a new 435 Ton Daikin Magnitude® magnetic bearing water-cooled chiller. This highly-efficient chiller met all the cooling needs of the school in an energy-saving, cost-reducing way. The client was satisfied with the solution and they are now looking at magnetic bearing chiller options on future projects.
