HTS New England was selected as the basis of design for the Canal Dock Boathouse construction. The Canal Dock Boathouse will serve as a space for boat storage, transient slips, and handicap accessibility to the harbor. With close proximity to the ocean, the Canal Dock Boathouse needed a chiller that was corrosion resistant.
HTS equipped the Boathouse with two 50-ton Technical Systems Inc Air-Cooled Chillers that are salt water corrosion resistant, and two 10,000 CFM Haakon Air Handling Units. Together, the installed units will provide the Canal Dock Boathouse with an energy efficient HVAC system with the ability to withstand harsh weather conditions.
