HTS New England provided Innovent 100% O/A units utilizing energy efficient flat plate heat exchangers and Halton KBD dampers. The consulting engineer was concerned about how heat wheels would react to the exhaust air from the spaces being served so the solution was to provide Innovent heat recovery units with air-to-air flat plate heat exchangers. Halton kitchen exhaust balancing dampers (Model KBD) allowed multiple kitchen grease exhaust hoods to be combined and served by one kitchen exhaust fan, providing for a more simple, lower first-cost, more energy efficient kitchen grease exhaust system.
