PVI Durawatt Electric Supertank Water Heater

DURAWATT is a heavy-duty, medium to the large capacity electric water heater. The design avoids large, high-kilowatt tube bundles that can be difficult to maintain. Instead, individual heating elements rated at 9 or 18kW are combined for higher recovery requirements. Standard heating elements are Incoloy sheathed with bronze mounting flanges (optional sheathing material available). Proportional sequencing of heating elements is optional.

Available with electronic operating controls that are Modbus connectable to a building automation system.

Efficiency:

• Electric water heaters are considered to be > 98% efficient.
• Meets ASHRAE 90.1-2010.
• Heaters qualify for LEED certification.

Inputs:

• Maximum kW varies by tank size, consult submittal documents.
• Customized heaters available with higher inputs.
• Heating elements can be energized in up to 10 stages.
