Erin Meadows Community Center was due for an end of life cycle pool dehumidification system upgrade.
SAB engineering was the MEP consultant for this project. Active Mechanical was the mechanical contractor who successfully acted as the prime contractor for this retrofit project. Their sub-contractor AFC Heating completed the sheet metal portion of the job.
The challenge was to specify a unit that could fit through a small exterior opening and into the mechanical room. After the design was complete, HTS met with all the stakeholders on-site, going over the installation, lifting, ductwork, and plumbing plan for the unit. All of these had to be sequenced correctly for the project to be successful. HTS technicians were present during the crane lift to assist the contractor with the rigging and assembly of the unit.
