This 6-story building was recently renovated and needed to replace the existing air handling units. The engineer knew that he would get the service he needed with HTS and gave us a call. Our team replaced the existing units with energy-efficient, custom air handling units that came with lower maintenance requirements and quieter operation.
For this project, we chose two Daikin air handling units with their 25,000 CFM and 6-direct drive ECM supply fans per unit. With the engineers recommending HTS to the general contractor, we were able to sell the units directly to the general contractor. The one challenge was the installation since the units had to enter through a tight space, so we coordinated closely with the contractor for the teardown and rebuild of each air handling unit in the mechanical rooms.
