In 2015, Rankin County, Texas opened a new 34,000 square foot critical access hospital and wellness center to replace the original building constructed 60 years ago. The newly designed facility includes the hospital with 15 inpatient beds and lab, imaging, physical therapy, and emergency services, as well as a connected 2,500 square-foot clinic and 1,700 square foot pharmacy. The facility also includes a wellness center with a swimming pool, exercise gym, and locker rooms.
HTS worked with O’Connell Robertson and Rogers-O’Brien to provide a highly efficient HVAC and BMS system that helped the hospital earn LEED certification. The equipment selected met energy efficiency requirements while providing the best possible value for building owners.
