HTS New England was selected to equip the Ernst & Young office with a new HVAC system. The four floor building needed a system that would incorporate a water source heat pump with a high energy efficiency rating, that was also cost effective for a quick return on investment. HTS New England provided 52 Daikin Applied Enfinity water source heat pumps with EC motors, ranging in size from one ton to just under six tons. The operating sound levels of the heat pumps were very low, which was ideal for the office environment.
The Daikin system provides Ernst & Young’s building with premium efficiency, allowing the facility to qualify for Mass Save rebate incentives. Furthermore, the building is LEED Gold and Energy Star Certified.
