Founded in 1926, Temple College is nationally recognized for excellence in its programs from the visual and performing arts to competitive athletics, and has become one of the premier institutions in the state for education and training of healthcare providers. To continue their mission of fostering success for their students, Temple College needed to update their HVAC equipment to provide a quieter, more powerful system that they could rely on.
HTS worked as the basis of design within tight budget constraints to rework the system in their admissions building. 2 Daikin Roofpak RPS units were installed, totaling 125 tons, which have high turndown to meet various occupancy loads and standalone Intelligent Equipment controls that connect to the cloud. The lower installation costs and space-saving of an RPS combined with the efficiency of central heating and cooling made it the perfect choice.
