Found Hotel was built in 1877, making it one of the oldest continuously operated hotels in downtown Boston. This brought unique challenges to the renovation, both for design and installation. Inline Mechanical chose HTS as the basis of design to update their HVAC system because of our experience with similar projects. VRV was the perfect choice for this retrofit because of its small size; five 8 ton VRV heat recovery units with wall mounted cassettes were installed. They will keep guests comfortable with individual control within the suites, and also save the hotel on energy costs.
