Introducing Enwave’s Pearl Street Energy Center – a state-of-the-art facility at the forefront of sustainable energy solutions. Located in Downtown Toronto, this cutting-edge center provides reliable and efficient district energy services to buildings in the surrounding area.
This energy center is part of Enerwave’s district energy system, which serves over 180 buildings and more than 40 million square feet of downtown real estate. The district energy network is connected to the Deep Lake Water Cooling system, which displaces 55 MW of power consumption annually (enough to power 8 hospitals).
Enwave required a Recovery Chiller to capture the heat from the CHW loop and utilize it in the hot water loop capturing temperatures ranging from 44º F to 140º F.
